On hot summer days I had some trouble starting the 5.0 liter engine in my Mustang. I installed it under my Edelbrock carburetor and didn't have to worry about the vapor lock feeling. One thing to note, in the picture it looks like the gasket is solid, in fact the back is hollow (ribbed/skeletonized). Which is good in a way because it has less surface contact to absorb heat.
