I have been using this item for assembling and installing office furniture for a few months now and it has proven to be of great value. I wasn't kidding and I'm not getting paid to say so, but it legitimately does more work than the little orange hammers you buy at the hardware store, they're heavier and the surface is a bit softer so you can really hit things and force them to obey. without damaging surfaces. When you hit metal, the surface won't let you down as it's a bit softer, but when you're working with wood or laminate, they'll thank you for the forgiving face. Buy for furniture, not cars. But it's a fantastic tool.
