Review on 🌿 Hemp Bedding for RentACoop by Heather Bell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great product and customer service but expensive for the quantity

I have bought this item twice. The first purchase was on 4/18/18 when the hemp was bagged by weight and I received a 33 lb bag for $59.99. I bought another 33lb pack of 5-6-18 but was sent 4 bags of "8lb" cannabis. Upon closer inspection, the UPS shipping label showed a weight of 20 pounds, and that was the total weight on my scale. After contacting and explaining to the seller, they were very prompt in contacting and rectifying the situation; They sent me 3 more bags of 8 pounds of cannabis. Now I'm ready to order again and see the package weight has changed in volume. The largest bag available is listed as 300L for the same $59.99, but the details list a shipping weight of 30 pounds. Whilst I am happy with the performance of the hemp and their customer service, Β£3 is a fairly small loss on a product for the same $59.99, especially from wholesalers who offer it at a much lower price. I'm happy with the odor control. and durability as bedding for my skinny piglets (mostly hairless guinea pigs). The texture is great too as I was concerned it might be too rough for her skin and feet. The odor is much less objectionable than some other types of bedding I've used in the past, particularly pine and dust free. I also used it in my chicken brooder. It worked well, but not for long, even though I had more chickens than usual this year. After 2+ months I just had to do a full three cell replacement for my skinnies with several "kitchen tank” changes (I fill their kitchen tank about 2 inches and the pan size is about 5 x 8 inches); The sow pens are 28" x 56" and the boar pens are approximately 24" x 36". TOP Mfg: Thank you for offering this bedding alternative, but please consider adjusting prices and bulk options according to market needs?
