I bought these knee pads on the recommendation of others. Many wearers of these knee pads have praised the high level of comfort they offer. The main reason I bought these knee pads was the praise they received for their "pedal friendliness". I received these knee pads in early July and started using them straight away. The first few trips were great as they were everything I hoped for. They were light, breathable and made pedaling easier. However, over time I noticed that the knee pads were starting to slip off the leg. During my rides I often had to stop and readjust the pads. I made sure I bought the right size before purchasing, so this shouldn't have been a problem. Over time, this problem got worse. The biggest problems I started with pads came about two weeks after owning them. The pads started to crack where the bushing made contact with the protective rubber pad. The upholstery also began to tear all over the back. In the end, my knee pads almost fell apart. The knee pads worked great on my first few rides with them. However, no quality control took place. The only reason I didn't give this product a 1 star rating is that the pads worked as advertised for the first few rides. I am looking for a new set of knee pads.
