I like to drive my 16 year old Jeep Renegade Trailhawk with the window open no matter the weather. However, I can't stand how quickly and easily water enters the cabin. After some research I decided on them. Although the initial price was a bit of a shock, I figured that given my driving style it would be better for my interior in the long run. I received them in about 2 days (thanks, Prime!) and on the first sunny day I went to install. It was a bit tricky to get the curtains out of the box at first, but it was doable - the kit included 2 front and rear curtains, 4 alcohol wipes and an instruction manual. The shades themselves seem pretty solid and are designed for specific sides of your vehicle, so be careful what you do. After reading the instructions, I went into town. You will need to take an alcohol swab and THOROUGHLY CLEAN the rubber area over and around where you are placing the screen. Then slowly and carefully peel off the red tape covering the 3m adhesive on the back of the lampshade. Next, build up the shade you want. Finally place and press firmly to make it stick to the car, making sure to put it on the cleaned area. and you are done. I can tell you that after installing it I drove about 60 miles at about 50-60mph and these things didn't even move, so I believe in the clutch. I will update the review after the first rain and wash.
