I have long wanted to replace some of my very old cutting boards that are becoming obsolete. We make a lot of vegetable peelings, cook food, and I also use a wooden board on my stovetop if I want to use the appliances on the stovetop when they're not in use. HOW IT IS MADE This board is shipped raw and unfinished. Be prepared to oil it a few times and then finish it with a cutting board. You can buy some of these or make them yourself. There are many recipes on the internet. QUALITY The quality of this board is top notch. It works great on both sides and lays flat on any surface. There was no forgiveness at all. FEATURES Not only is it useful as a vegetable board for my husband and I, but also for cooking when we have a lot to do. I find this to be PERFECT when using a coffee roaster that requires a wood surface on my stovetop. This gives me plenty of room to work when removing the hot parts from it. CONCLUSION This board is great. Be prepared to lubricate and handle it before use, but it's worth it. MY RATING IS FIVE STARS. This board is so beautiful. I love looking at it and running my hands over it. The wood is really high quality and the workmanship is also good.
