Review on πŸ”§ Crank Brothers Stamp 2 Platform Pedals: Unmatched Performance and Durability by Giovanni Bedjohn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Your feet will be welded to these pedals.

I bought these pedals for my wife's cruiser which is her main mode of transportation and she wore the standard pedals smoothly! It can drive more safely without slipping and has much more power. You should know that although she has a cruiser, she is an aggressive and powerful cyclist who puts in 20 miles a day. Pedals snap easily into place. The screws (you'll need a hex wrench as that's not included) had to be countersunk to their lowest position, which wasn't much deeper than they came from the factory. There is plenty of traction, however. The build quality seems to be good. After a few weeks of driving they still spin well and the bearings are quiet. If this changes I will update this review. I liked that the Stamp 2 comes in two sizes. My wife has a small foot (wife is 7.5) so a platform that is too big for the pedals will not fit her. It's perfect. They are a bit more expensive but seem to be well made. I also bought a set of RockBros at the same time but returned them as they had a large platform and there were several reports of bad bearings with them. The pins in them are regulated in different ways. With Stamp 2, I think that if I ever have to pull the pins out, I'll end up with deformed hex screws. I think I will.
