This product is exactly what I wanted. It is not a choke collar per se and has no spikes. The double row chains give it an attractive look which I wanted for my very beautiful collie. Other collars have not worked because the thickness of collie fur is thicker on the neck than on the head. It was easy for her to slip out of the collar by simply pulling it back! The martingale style solves the problem as the gate is tightened by pulling; otherwise it hangs freely. not quite loose, but like a necklace. I hold it by her leash instead of carrying it with me all the time. It is easy to put on and take off when a leash is required. The size chart provided by the seller was correct. The collar I ordered fit perfectly. Seems to be well made and hopefully will last a long time.
