Very good fit for my rottweiler. His neck is about 21 inches long, but he is only a year old and further growth is expected over the next few months. I can use the C clip to increase the size a bit to avoid slipping while playing with my new spinning pup.

it works fine. The sizing information matched all three of my dogs. They don't seem to be damaged by collars, so don't nibble or dig, it just draws their attention. One of my little ones is half pit bull and she doesn't move into this one. I've found that even using it as a placebo seems to have the same effect after a week of use, it's just that they don't pull anymore.

I have a German Shorthaired Pointer, mostly white on the neck. This chrome chain wore down my dog's neck and turned his fur gray-green. It was copper, probably filled with lead, beneath a polished finish that was worn. It took several weeks for the damaged fur to become clean. Luckily the skin wasn't damaged. Avoid this product. Useless.

UPDATE: The triangular portion of this collar is RUSTED! Very disappointed! My Rottie Shar Pei mix, 6 months old and over 58lbs has destroyed 3 collars so far. So I bought this one hoping that a #4 collar wouldn't go down the drain. I ordered large for the size. He is too big. I'm off the charts too. It was very easy to put on but wish the size could be adjusted. It's really pretty and doesn't weigh our pup down. The real test will be to see if she can make it.

I think the seller was willing to return for an exchange but Amazon wouldn't let me arrange a return as the time had already passed. This product is exactly what I wanted. It is not a choke collar per se and has no spikes. The double row chains give it an attractive look which I wanted for my very beautiful collie. I got this collar for obedience training and as a walking collar. It works better than a webbing martingale collar, but is wide enough not to cut the dog's throat. The only downside is that it's a little heavy, but it doesn't seem to bother the dog at all. A limited closure is much safer for this dog than a slip-on collar.
