Review on Extolife Filters Navigator Lift Away XHEPA560 by Kendra Simpson

I love my shark. I received these filters to replace the filter that originally came with the vacuum cleaner. When I opened the new filters, I noticed that they aren't exactly the same as the original filters, but are similar enough to give it a try. I put the new filters in and my first impressions were ok, I ran a few lines and the suction seemed good. but not great. I also noticed that the vacuum got louder. I kept sweeping and noticed that the trash can didn't seem to be picking up much. So I turned off the vacuum and removed the filters to examine them. When I removed them I noticed the cleaner smelled hot so I touched the outside where the motor is and it felt very warm. I left it on for a few minutes before attempting to sweep again. This time the vacuum shut off almost immediately after restarting, overheating, and I have yet to try to start it again. I will no longer use these filters. This vacuum cleaner is less than a year old, I hope I haven't toasted it forever!
