This filter works well for filtering a cold drink with little sediment. I really wanted to like it but it gets stuck in jars and VERY difficult to get out. The wire handle that comes with the kit is basically useless as it comes loose when you try to pull the filter out. Basically, the only way I could get the filter out after brewing a batch was to carefully place a butter knife under the rim of the filter and carefully pry up and free the filter. This worked fine for about a month, but the last time I did this the metal rim around the filter came loose from the screen leaving it stuck in the jar. It took needle nose pliers to get the filter out of the jar (I was able to salvage my last batch of coffee!) but the filter was roasted. Spring.
