Better than OEM but still not good enough for large dogs
Ideal for babies or medium sized dogs and better than OEM. This is an improvement over the grommets supplied with the gate when used with a bracket screwed into the wall. But my dog still comes through the gate. So if you are thinking about using these types of gates with a large dog over 90lbs, find another way instead of buying a gate and buying these upgraded poles just so the dog can still open the gate.
