It was necessary to cut off about 4000 connectors. Half the way passed and the first boat didn't slow down. I cut kayu batu (Indonesian hardwood) so I'd say the cutter is pretty solid. Unlike some wire cutters, this one doesn't make a beveled end. But the exchange in my case is successful. I can use one of the plugs I cut out to fill 3 or 4 holes. Because I use a small belt sander to make a slight bevel on the piston, the bevel can be kept shallow to maximize piston wall contact with the bore. whether the plugs I just measured (cut a few weeks ago) are drying out or not, so it's safe to assume 10 thousandths more. They fit snugly in the .375 (3/8 inch) hole.
