I work A LOT with small class D mini amps. I have bought and used several. I found Nobsound gear better than Fosi, Breeze Audio etc. So I was VERY excited to see Nobsound start offering their 160W x 2 BT amps on Revain. I had to try them. A NOTICE! These amps are not 160w x 2. These amps have been professionally tested on dyno test equipment. They are around 65-70 watts (RMS) per channel. However quite thick. I'm using one with a Skar Audio 15" DIY passive subwoofer. Subwoofer 4 ohms + 4 ohms, no impedance problems. I also built one into my homemade ammo columns. Good gracious! This takes those homemade cans to the next level. With the amp in the bank, I'm running it at 35 volts (they come with a 32V AC/DC power supply, which is more than enough). I'm using a 320w boost amp to go from 12v to 35v. Folks, power abounds. Now you can scream (sound clearer too!) These 160 watts x 2 amps are definitely more powerful than the 100 watts x 2 amps (both from Nobsound). My large 15" passive subwoofer now sounds theater quality (using the amp solely as a subwoofer amp). They "feel" the sound better than the 100w x 2 I used before (which was great too!). When using the amplifier full-range (as in my speakers from the cartridges). The sound pressure level is loud enough to annoy the neighbors into calling the police for a social check. yes, now they play LOUD (clean again too). The controllers are standard and smooth (100Hz and around 10000Hz) There is a toggleable Bluetooth/AUX switch on the back, I like it, but there are annoying noises that the Chinese think are important (only working beeps/ringtones, to let you know it's you with BT Stupid IMO). This switch should be in the front and these standard beeps should go away (e.g. the sounds of children's toys). Must be Bluetooth 5.0 vs 4.2. It connects easily with 4.2 but BT 5.0 is much better and faster range with 4.2 is better than 5.0 but I'm sure (especially at 35 volts) it's around 70 watts (rms) per channel. 5.5 x 2.5mm DC input jack (I wish they were all 5.5 x 2.1mm. This size is more common) Unit stays cool with normal noise levels. It doesn't get terribly warm/hot until you hit full power. Then it MUST be warm. The build quality is first class. The front panel power button is now a real power button (thanks Chinese for listening to us Americans/Canadians). Now Chinese guys fix the $100 quirks. You will like it. There are still a few minor quirks to work out, but if you love the power in a small mini amp that sounds GREAT, that's no problem. DEF is an additional $20-$30 over the 100-Wx-2 units (which are also excellent). I've just ordered my third. These are little power animals!
