Had to buy the 3 pin version first, couldn't connect it to gigabyte motherboard. Instructions are not included with the product and are not on this product page. Then bought a 4 pin version, they are connected and working. However, apart from the 3-pin version working, you need a special adapter that comes with the motherboard that changes the 3-pin to "4-pin" for addressable RGB. Does Phanteks mention anything about what contacts their Halo comes with? Of course not. Does it mention you need the adapter that came with the motherboard to make it work? Of course not. Do they even include instructions with the product? Of course not. First and last Phanteks product I will ever buy. ie=UTF8&psc=1Here are 4 pin halos-https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074Q65CRV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
