My 15 year old son put this on my truck. It takes a little while for the nut to get through the spacer hole, and then "finger tightening" the bolts is a bit of a one man struggle. As you can see in one of my photos, the inner nut on the right side doesn't seem to be in. until the end. I don't know if we screwed it up wrong and then "forced" it, or if it's just not lined up right. I'll have to watch. All other bolts went in with no problem.*I would recommend using a jack to hold the stabilizer bar after removing the bolts.correct nut length: 1 3/4) to fit the included steering nut when popping on from the flared side.*You can reuse the lock washer (which wasn't mentioned in the instructions) but I also tightened the threads as the instructions said it wasn't mentioned in the manual but you should consider using the new stabilizer bar u nd tighten the screws securely when reinstalling them. * Four small washers are used for the new stabilizer bolts. Four large washers are used for the large bolts holding the bearing with locknuts (one on the front and one on the back of the base plate). If you don't have enough shims for this setup, then you don't have enough shims. The bearing wouldn't slip on the new nut and I solved this problem by lubricating the inside of the bearing with my finger to make sure it didn't bind or bind when the nut was installed. It was a fairly simple setup. I wasted most of my time trying to find the right socket size as watching youtube videos on installation gave either the wrong socket size or no size at all. The manual says you need a 33mm socket to remove the stock steering nut. Let me save you some time here: Lowes, Home Depot, Autozone, Napa Auto Parts, and WalMart (although you can order it online from them) DO NOT carry outlets this size in your stores and you won't find an outlet like this one. in most boxes. I was able to use a 1 7/8 socket to unscrew the stock steering nut. I used a 1 3/4 socket to attach the extended steering nut. I had to snap a 1/2" adapter to a 1 7/8 female. I had a good 6" of lateral play in the wheel when riding on the road. It seems that the "play" in the wheel is less. If that makes sense, it still seems to be there. If the wheel play doesn't bother you, I'm honestly not sure if it's really worth installing, which is why it got 4 stars instead of 5. Only time will tell.
