Our dual lever bath mixer on the cold water side didn't turn the water on. It was easy to disassemble, and it turned out that the stem had cracks where it attaches to the mechanism that allows you to turn the water on (or off). Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc. didn't have a replacement close to what I needed. Luckily I came across pictures online that directed me to Moen parts on Revain that looked like what I needed. My faucets had no ID that they were Moen products. But I ordered this kit and wow the black stock fits perfectly. Other parts of the kit (screws and small-small cylinder) were not used. I only used one of the two and left the other because the one I didn't replace would probably break once I threw away the white one. No instructions with kit. So not sure if white is for cold and black is for hot (or vice versa) But for now I have a working faucet system.
