Review on Fit System 62093 94G Chevrolet Replacement by Mike Wieneke

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Goes great with my 2011 Silverado Z71

These mirrors had been on my wish list for a number of years and when they finally dropped in price I jumped at the opportunity to buy them. They come in a kit and I highly recommend either asking someone who knows how to pull out interior moldings or watching some videos online on how to pull out panels without damaging them or the car as no instructions are included. The nuts that came with the kit didn't fit me as the bolt holes on the door were bigger than the small flange on the nuts so I just used the OEM parts, the threads were perfect, neither the bolts nor the bolts were stripped threads. or nuts. The cable coming from the mirrors is longer than the photo and goes to the factory positions. It will take some time to get used to their size and they will create new blind spots when looking ahead as their profile is easily twice the size of smaller factory mirrors, but don't let that discourage you, the extra rear view is value . Both the top and bottom mirrors can be moved, and if you have power mirrors it's plug and play. The turn signal needle works, a little brighter at night but nothing to dazzle you or affect your night vision. Edit Dec 2017 Blown out several LED turn signals on the driver's mirror, but the rest still work. Not a game changer but it would be nice to know if LEDs can be replaced.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
