This made it much easier and faster to plant a large number of flower bulbs and seedlings. The only reason it's not a 5 is if you have roots or soil that wasn't prepared/dug up beforehand, be careful! Hitting the root can quickly twist the drill in your hand, which can be painful if not secured. I learned to press the drill to my leg. Also, I've found that if I dig and then pull it out, then dig and then pull it out, you'll have less trouble with the drill bit trying to spin out of your hand. Note that I live in Georgia so our soil tends to be clayey - again a reason to use it after you've flipped the soil and added conditioner/peat moss.
