Review on 🌊 Premium Stoney River White Aquatic Sand: Ideal for Freshwater and Marine Aquariums; 5-Pound Bag by Shashi Jain

I used this sand on a small 3 gallon freshwater tank (Circuit 3 Marineland) that Betta was kept in. The sand was good and clean and fairly fine-grained, but not so fine that the vacuum cleaned it when changing the water. I made sure to rinse the sand before use, but there was almost no clouding of the water during washing. I think it can probably be used without washing as it says on the box. I really like that the sand is coarse enough that it doesn't seem like air pockets are forming (air pockets can lead to a build up of toxic gases). For a 3-gallon tank, that was too much; I ended up only using about a quarter of a bag to cover a 1 square meter area. foot about an inch of sand. The sand also has a beautiful natural white color, resulting in a very pleasing look to the aquarium. I would definitely recommend this to anyone escaping a small to medium sized tank.
