Sony Alpha NEX-3 is my first camera that I use. Very light, pleasant, compact, beautiful. For an amateur, the most juice. In manual mode (M) very docile and intuitive. To sum up: a great toy for those who want to get their hands on the exposure triangle and just a useful thing for beginners. I recommend. Has some pros: 1. The camera looks cute and tiny, well, it's understandable. 2. The kit lens shoots very well and sharply, 3. most of the necessary things are at hand. 4. Sometimes it pleases how the display rotates - conveniently. 5. Good native SteadyShot. 6. I like the wheel, it looks like a DSLR, you don’t need to click on the buttons every time. 7. Not inferior to many DSLRs, I’ll even say it is ahead of them (lightness and compactness decide). 8. Objective price. Has cons: 1. In the hand, the camera sits very well, however, out of habit, the girth will be disgusting (what about left-handers, I don’t even know what they feel like at all). 2. ISO at values above 800 is very, very upsetting, noticeable (!) Noises appear (and this is a bright drawback). 3. The plastic body is inferior to Sonya's older brothers. 4. On a clear, bright day, the display is not visible at all, so, only on the monitor screen you notice what a terrible white balance you set when shooting (but this can be corrected in editors and is not a problem at all). 5. Some elements are far hidden in the menu. 6. Narrow selection of glasses. 7. In winter, batteries are discharged incredibly quickly. 8. Loud shutter.
