Pros: The gel surface is just enough to cover the bottom and sides of the heel. The price is fair as they are hand washable for reuse and I expect them to last a long time. No inconvenience or discomfort when wearing them to bed, once they're on they're on and I don't wake up with my foot falling asleep or anything. Cons: BE CAREFUL when WALK in it. They have a slick silicone gel heel and your foot WILL SLIP so be very careful when getting up or walking from a seated position. Binding is a bit tight at both ends; I ordered a men's size large and my feet are medium/narrow and the bindings definitely loosen. It's not really a disadvantage, but you REALLY need to use your own moisturizer and then apply it; no built-in moisturizing ingredients.
