I'm not sure if some reviewers are unhappy with the ending on this opener, but this is by far the best hole punch I've ever used. It is strong and will hardly bend in use, has a reasonably sharp end, grips the rim of the can well and punches a nice hole in the can near the rim with ease. I struggled with my old opener for years. I don't know why I didn't throw it away sooner. You can't go wrong with this! BTW, for those wondering if it's stainless steel, it's not. It's very magnetic. Stainless steel can exhibit some magnetism depending on its composition, but it is more magnetic than steel.
