This bright light meets the specification. Easily attaches to any steering wheel with a strap. Also, I would describe this flashlight as "solid" - it has some weight and I really wish it was lighter. As a helmet lamp it is too heavy. I'm guessing 1/3 to 1/2 pounds. although I didn't weigh it. I use two of these on my MTB handlebars (one at each end) and they do a great job of illuminating the trail as they offer a very wide beam/angle of light instead. from just one ray. For the price, you can't beat two of these. max 2000 combined lumens for $80. The reasons I use 2 lights are: A) Wider beam (twice as wide and brighter) B) Fallback if one breaks C) Using a medium high setting on the 2 lights extends their life to 2+ hours, so I can ride longer in comparison Use the max settings with only 1 lamp. But you can get by with one of these and the other (lighter light) on your helmet for fast cross-country riding. Tested Battery Life: Full power: 1 hour 10 minutes until low battery flashes, then the light turns off after 1 hour 35 minutes. Lowest continuous light setting: 4 hours 20 minutes until battery flashes low, then light goes out after 5 hours 45 minutes. As said, the only improvement would be if the light was brighter. I had to get another light for my helmet. Also, I wish the rubber band didn't stick out so much when I put it on the narrower ends of the bars, but I think a longer band is fine if you put it on the middle of the bar where it's a lot thicker .
