FL-1 CERTIFIED 1000 LUMEN headlight shines a powerful beam far and wide over roads and trails. This pocket sized light is certified IP67 waterproof and FL-1 impact resistant. F1000's regulated circuitry keeps the brightness constant to see well throughout the battery charge, while many lights lose up to 50% of claimed brightness within 5 minutes. VERSATILE NIGHT & DAY MODES - 5 Night modes cover any speed and terrain, 3 unique Flashing Day modes make you stand out in high city traffic and open country roads, 1 Walking Flashlight mode for handy use. WHEN BATTERY IS LOW THE LIGHT FLASHES EVERY 25 SECONDS indicating 10 to 20 minutes of runtime left. LOCK MODE – The light flashes when pressing the power button to indicate Lock Mode is ON and to protect your light from unintentionally powering ON during storage or transit. To unlock, press the power button for 6 seconds then release the power button when the light turns from flashing to solid. THE AMERICAN STANDARD – Developed by a team of American industrial designers and engineers in order to give you stylish high quality bicycle lights that are competitively priced and durably built. This small but powerful multi-purpose headlight works as your bike light, flashlight, camping light, and much more. Weighs only 145 grams with mount. MOUNT UPGRADE - New bracket tab is now made from tough Zytel material for maximum strength. Heavy duty flexible mount attaches fast and easily on many types of handlebars including aerobars. It swivels left and right to aim the light where needed and uses a quick release function to separate the light from the mount for use as a flashlight or when not in use.

Very bright and looks well made

The light works great and it's a good price. I use it for city driving and can't wait to use it on the highway too. It's small enough to fit in my pocket so I can carry it with me. Nice design and safe feeling on the bike compared to my other bike from another brand. The photos show the highest settings.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Nothing here

It's not a Cygolite Metro, it doesn't have a diffuser in front of the light!

I have had a Cygolite Metro 750 for years and love it. This Ceco is not a Cygolite. It doesn't have a diffuser in front of the light source, so the beam is just a point. The Cygolite diffuser allows for a wide spread of light. I returned it and bought a Cygolite Metro 550. Almost the same price but much better! Don't be fooled by lumens. Believe me. You will like Cygolite MUCH more!

The locking tab WILL BE BROKEN.

What's the use of steering wheel lighting if you can't mount it on the steering wheel? You can not. As others have written, and I should have pointed out, the mount is pure junk. The tab that secures the light to the bracket just broke from inserting the block into the bracket. The release tab is rigid and not flexible so it breaks when depressed. It won't fix it. Now it makes a decent flashlight. Please don't repeat my mistake unless the mount is fixed, look elsewhere.

"Certified vs. calculated " lumens

I have Ceco f100 and f1000. The first and most important thing about a mountain bike light at night in the woods is its brightness. And there is a big difference between certified or measured brightness and calculated or theoretical brightness. Please see the attached image for the certified 750 lumens ceco f750 light source and the untitled Revain light calculator claiming 1200 lumens. As stated in the description, only about 75 minutes on high power. No physical difference between f750 and…

Bright, well built with some minor imperfections

This bright light meets the specification. Easily attaches to any steering wheel with a strap. Also, I would describe this flashlight as "solid" - it has some weight and I really wish it was lighter. As a helmet lamp it is too heavy. I'm guessing 1/3 to 1/2 pounds. although I didn't weigh it. I use two of these on my MTB handlebars (one at each end) and they do a great job of illuminating the trail as they offer a very wide beam/angle of light instead. from just one ray. For the price, you…

Wear shows best in headlights

I'm a big cyclist. I don't race professionally or compete in any events, but I use my bike at least five times a week to commute and run errands. A good flashlight is essential at night, not only because it's the law, but because it's the safest way to see and be seen. I've switched flashlight after flashlight and will buy one of these again. The brightness can't be compared to any bike front light I've had before. Not the widest beam I've ever had, but undoubtedly the strongest and widest. The

Great street light at a great price

I'm looking at different bike lights as a hobby. I bought this lamp because it is a Cygolite clone and the price was quite cheap. It turned out to be a very good light. The light is indeed quite bright (in altitude) and the radiation pattern is a nice mix of diffuse and diffuse. When properly aligned, the beam pattern is wide enough to illuminate about 15 feet wide and long enough to cast, depending on which mode you're using. I have found that I can use this lamp on the third constant…
