UPDATE: March 25, 2019 - The manufacturer revised the lanyard connector and sent me a new one to try. I've used it several times and it's holding up well. Instead of a flimsy webbing loop that frayed and slipped out of seam, they now have webbing with a metal loop that the lanyard attaches to. I'm happy with it so far and will update again if it fails. I really like the strap on the back that I can slip my fingers through for a good grip when taking photos or as a stand. My confidence in the product has been restored. UPDATE: 2 months later a webbing loop broke from a seam making the drawcord non-existent in this case. The seams on the skin were unaffected, but the tape had come undone at the seams. Very unhappy. I' need to find another style. Upon receipt: This strap phone case is beautiful. Perfect fit for my iPhone 8+. I have a beautiful turquoise. Others admired it.
