It's cooler and wetter than the non-coconut versions, but not uncomfortable, just different. I've found that subtle difference is only subtle at moments. It does a great job with my forearm "needs" and I haven't had any problems. I will say that I don't have any unusual armpit problems, so I can't comment on its effectiveness in that regard. Also, I haven't tried it with a little black dress, so I can't tell if it marks, but I haven't seen any marks on my other dresses. I will order it again, although it is more expensive with the coconut health trend.
