Cool ashtray for my truck as I really want my truck to be as clean and smoke free as possible. Before this ashtray I would have ashed out the window but not all of the ash is left outside the truck as it seems like some of it keeps coming back into my truck. I would never throw away cigarette butts as I live in the mountains because of the fire hazard. I had a different ashtray for my truck. to place cigarette butts but at night it was hard to find in the dark so I like that this ashtray is illuminated by a blue LED. Another thing that really makes this ashtray stand out is that you close the lid as soon as you put the cigarette butts in, locking in the bad smell of burnt cigarettes. The lighter on top also helps a lot when driving because my lighter burns out with the windows down or the air conditioning on, but the built-in lighter in this ashtray is sheltered from the wind. Camping in our alcove RV and I will be buying two of these for RV use. I really like the fact that this ashtray is leak-proof even after closing the lid and then quickly extinguishes lit cigarette butts due to lack of oxygen. I had my old ashtray, which was also shaped like a mug with a small hole in the middle of the top, which held a lit cigarette butt which eventually ignited the other cigarette butts in it, and it gave off so much smoke that I quickly had to stop to empty it and stomp out any lit cigarette butts. When the lid of this ashtray is closed you will never have this problem as it will block the air and push out the lit cigarette butts very quickly. I would definitely recommend this ashtray to anyone smoking in a car or in a boat, RV or tent.
