This set of 72 colored pencils was delivered quickly and packaged well. The pens were neatly arranged in a decorative box and sorted by color. Each pencil was well sharpened and imprinted with a name. all good things Painting with them, even trying out the colors and mixing them, was fun. Many colors are similar, but none are exactly the same. With so many colors available, they're an economical alternative for the beginner, adult color fanatic, or serious aspiring artist on a budget. I recommend them for all of these purposes. I'm deducting a star because a couple of things didn't quite fit. First, to describe them as "highly professional" would be a gross exaggeration. I agree with the seller that they are significantly better than the very cheap toys that are often given to younger children who just want to paint. While some colors were given traditional artist terms like "burnt umber," others were given playful names like "pink." Some of them with traditional names simply did not give the given color. Perhaps the most striking example is Venetian Red. The color produced by this pen was not a dark red but more of a light peach, similar to what they considered "skin" tones. Although such errors were few with traditional paints, it would have been disappointing for a professional artist. There were also four pens dedicated to the color "flesh" (although one was written "flesh"). All were pink. A true artist knows that there is no such thing as "flesh color" and certainly such an image ignores the fact that the skin tones of people around the world vary greatly. I realize that might sound finicky, but that's what happens with kids kits, like having to color in the skin in their drawings with these crayons. A professional pencil set will not make such a mistake. Overall, this is a good pencil set to play with and very economical. I appreciate the opportunity to play with them and review them here.
