I have a question about this product. I ordered two for my two 100w solar panels. The charge controller could not be connected to the battery. When I switched to the mc4 SAE adapter and connected it directly to my trailer, the charge controller turned on immediately. All my wires are 10 AWG. Do you know why alligator clips don't work? If I've missed something, I have to retrieve them and come up with a new game plan to connect my charge controller to my battery. I love the idea of just swapping my solar panel from one battery to another with alligator clips. I was extremely disappointed when we connected them to the charge controller and then to the battery and nothing happened.
