Review on 🌡️ Comidox MAX31865 PT100/PT1000 RTD Temperature Thermocouple Sensor Amplifier Board Temperature Detector Module for Arduino - (1 Unit) by Chuck Hernandez

The product description says this board will work with a PT100 or PT1000 RTD. It is not true! According to the MAX31865 datasheet, "a reference resistor four times the resistance of the RTD is optimal for a platinum RTD. So the PT100 uses a 400 ohm reference resistor and the PT1000 uses a kohm reference resistor.” This board uses a 430 ohm reference resistor. Reference resistance and is therefore intended for use with a PT100 resistance sensor. If you use this with a PT1000 you should buy another board with a 4.3kΩ reference resistor.
