Review on ๐Ÿ”ง BOSCH OSL350SPD Starlock Oscillating Multi-Tool Delta Sanding Pad: Upgrade Your Sanding Experience by Mufti Carter

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The Bosch Starlock Sanding Pads were defective

I bought these a while ago but didn't have time to write a review. The pads were ok in terms of velcro but the problem with them was the connection point between the plastic backing of the pad and the Starlock metal piece that snaps into the tool. By the way, I use the Fein Multimaster. In any case, these pads will loosen up a bit at this point of contact. This caused the tool to vibrate loudly because the sanding pad was not securely attached to its star-shaped part. All of this leads to poor performance due to lack of movement. To be honest this seems to be a design flaw, not in the Starlock technology but in the way the Bosch pads attach to the Starlock part. This may sound confusing, but it's a real problem and it hasn't happened to any of my pads. So two stars. If this were corrected I would give them 5 stars because I like the larger size of the fine pads. How much they burn and wear out seems to be an issue with all pads and type character as others have said. tool and how to use it. I tended to wear them down by pressing hard on a corner or pressing too hard. As said in another comment, this is how the tool is handled without over-squeezing, holding flat etc. However, it would be nice if they developed a stronger lining, velcro and loop system that could withstand more intensive use.
