I'm not "thrilled" with this product - I am! I had my little Pfaff Hobbymatic, a "temporary" descent I did 25 years ago when my dream car, the Pfaff 1222-e, died my second time at school, graduating and in good spirits. a job capable of getting a 'really good' car in another year. Then I became disabled and have been limping on the HobbyMatic ever since (the name says what it DOESN'T have, such as adequate lighting!). This fall we wanted to get me a nice new top-of-the-line Juki but there wasn't enough money Won't come, so I'll get Hobbymatic up for a few more months, but not with light or dimming situations! I first bought one of the lights from another brand and when I installed them the clear gel seal that bulged over the top of the LEDs broke leaving the wiring exposed! So send it back, find another to buy. I chose these based on reviews including a lady who wrote that hers broke and received a call to help get it working again. When mine came there was no gel on it - just a paper-plastic strip with LEDs and wires on it, loose. At first I thought "Not very good" and almost sent it back. I'm glad I didn't. For many reasons. First I put it on and it works great (and was very easy to install!). long term, but so far so cool - and if they come off, hey, I have glue at home - I'll figure something out - even if it's just "Put on Velcro and use it.") (And remember - Xander's uncle was on Buffy the first to come up with velcro!) Second, now that I think about it, that gel arch at the top was more of a hindrance than an advantage. If it _es_ breaks easily - I hardly touched it and it broke! - How long would it take? Second, my Sig Another sat up and noticed when I told him there was a kit to use the other half of the lights. I was ready to leave those headlights on the Hobby Matic and put the other half on the other car when it arrived but since we can't get it now we thought I told him he should go ahead and get the adapter kit at the bottom of a monitor arm above his desk to help him see what he is typing in the shadow of the monitor. He despaired of ever lighting that part of his desk! He's ordering an expansion kit tomorrow. Anyway - for the first time I actually have a bit _too much_ light under the neck of my car. I actually want a dimmer! (Hey Inspired LED - are you doing one for this set of bulbs?) That was what was in the other set that was missing from this one and I'd love to have it. Okay, maybe I should deduct a tenth of a star for that, but I won't. I still love this light set. Inspired LED - do you make one for this light set?) That was in the other set what is missing from this one and what I would like. OK, maybe I should deduct a tenth of a star for that, but I won't. I still love this light set.
