We bought this for an upcoming hike but I was a bit skeptical so we tested it at home first. It was just the right size for a block of ramen noodles (broken into pieces) which is my favorite meal of all time so this is a must try. The lid fits well and was easy to remove once the water was boiling thanks to a handy pull tab. The handles are amazingly comfortable and ergonomic to use, cool down quickly after turning off the stove, allowing me to take the mug off the stove with my bare hands without burning it. I look forward to using it for oatmeal, hot chocolate. , small portions of hot dogs, knead pancake batter. my camping bowl, pot and mug suddenly became redundant. Can also be used as a double (/quadruple) toothbrush holder. Very handy size, small and light enough to take with you on hikes but big enough to be quite a workhorse. All my worries are gone and these ultra-lightweight essentials and hydration essentials will be in our camping and hiking gear for years to come!
