My new favorite knife

My new favorite knife I have tried several brands that are recommended for beginners like me. I've tried $20-$50 knives, JA Henckels, Allezola and a few other knives and have found that my old knife is my new favorite. The Allezola was my first choice, it was spicy but felt a bit cheap. (Don't get me wrong, that was a great $50 knife). I'm starting to cook again and feel like I need a more durable knife, don't want to buy another knife anytime soon. I found this brand and did a lot of research, people seem to REALLY like these knives. I went with a top of the range shogun and ordered 3", 3.5", 6", 8" and 10.25" so I could move around until I needed or stored two more knives. I received it very fast, it was very sexy box. I washed it with an 8" sponge and underestimated this thing. I barely touched the blade of the sponge knife and the poor sponge was destroyed. I've tried a few and LOVE them, you will definitely get what you pay for with knives. I gave the old knives to my mother because they were worse than my new ones but better than her old ones. My only concern is accidentally cutting myself on blood thinners. :o This knife is an excellent servant and you are the master. Don't screw it up or you're bound to get a lot of pain. The good thing is that no one wants to use them because of that. So they're all mine. my jewels
