As I prepared for a trip from Florida to Pennsylvania, I was afraid that the front of my 2018 BMW would be ruined by love bugs and road debris. After reading all the comments from others I was still skeptical but decided to give it a try. The bottle says it helps a little but I wanted maximum protection so I applied 3 coats. Application was relatively easy as I applied directly under the Florida sun. The drying time was quick and the finish made me think about what I did to my new car. During the day, on one of the trips with stops at some rest stops, the product held up well and was infested with many bugs. At the end of the first day it started to rain. The photos show the effect of the product when it rained at night while the car was parked. I wanted to see how easy it was to remove so I took the roof cover off and was surprised at how easily it came off leaving only tiny bits on the rubber seal in the convertible gutter. On the second day, I drove from Virginia to Pennsylvania in a four-hour thunderstorm. By the time I got to my destination most of the product had dissolved and what was left was easily removed by hand (it did leak into the rings around the parking sensors, but that too was easy to remove). When the rain finally stopped I was impressed, no color loss, no sticky residue and the product worked as advertised. Since the bra is out of stock for my car, this will be my product for future trips and love bug season in Florida. Very impressed with his performance!
