Bought this HDMI-DVI to use with Roku Premiere+ and my old DLP TV. When I used the Roku's HDMI output converter, my screen took on a purple tint. I bought 3 Roku Premiere+ converters to replace rented cable boxes and use the Xfinity Beta app to watch cable channels. I tried HDMI from one of the other Roku Premiere+ and got the same magenta image on my TV. I haven't turned on my Xfinity cable box yet, so I tried the HDMI output from the cable box to the converter and the image colors were fine. I solved the problem by returning this converter and buying a Roku with a built in low resolution (480) composite video output so I can watch Xfinity TV and get rid of the cable TV rental fees.
