Bought a wall saw to cut holes for recessed lighting. I was using a battery powered drill and it was difficult at first because I couldn't apply enough constant torque to keep the drill from flying out of my hand when it started biting. The trick I found was to set the drill chuck to a lower torque so it wouldn't snap out of my hands, then I would spin the bit to the right speed and gently press it against the dry wall. I've learned to maintain enough pressure to move the saw forward but still avoid kickback when gripping. It's not the hole saw's fault. This would happen with any large hole saw when using a small drill bit. The only downside I found was that it was a bit difficult to tighten the center drill bit in the saw. Maybe I did something wrong, but the instructions are in Chinese or Japanese.
