Wow I'm disappointed in them. So many things if only they worked. First thing I like: 1) I like the brightness of the LEDs. It gets to the point where I may no longer need to buy separate LED headlights as backup lights (which I wanted to do with my old taillights). 2) I like the pattern of the LEDs on the taillight. The brake lights and turn signals illuminate in a circular fashion, which is definitely an aesthetic improvement over the Original Equipment bulbs. Looks very cool! What I hate: 1) It's not plug and play. Lots of spliced wires. I chose cable sockets for a clean connection (match) with the original plugs that came standard with the lighting harness. It was a good decision, but it still suited me. 2) To mount them on the YJ, you need a Philips sharp angle screwdriver to replace the lens cap after mounting the body on the Jeep (they will be screwed in). on the back side). The original lights come with body bolts and nuts (to dig an unthreaded hole) but the YJ holes are tapped so you have to remove the lens, then the body bolts and nuts, then the original YJ Need to use case screws to install. a new housing before replacing and screwing the lens. This requires a way to get the bit 90 degrees into that tight space to tighten the screws from the back. You will also need to recoat the screws on these bulbs with silicone (since the bulbs are included as a waterproofing measure). For this job I used a 90 degree drill bit. It worked out well for the short piece. 2) After all the DRIVER SIDE LAMP ALREADY HAS 3 BURNED LEDs (in the same week of installation). After taking the time to install it properly, it's incredibly frustrating and is the main reason I only got 2 stars from me. It is unacceptable that something so new is already broken. The light is still on, partially, so I'm still in the law). but having 3 leds that will soon burn out is NOT normal. So yeah, it's the aesthetic update I talked about earlier in the Like section. Well, now I can remove it. At least give the guy some extra time to enjoy his purchase before it breaks. What the hell!?!
