This did snap on as recommended but my husband went ahead and glued it feeling for our purposes it would work better. It is a plastic that looks like metal. Only thing I didnโt love was the logo that is on the plate itself but it is not super noticeable.
- Well made wall plate. Not flimsy and looks expensive.
- May not be as child-safe as advertised
