Review on AFe Power Magnum 54 11478 L Intake by Jasneet Jazzy

Although I have DCI I wanted this mod mainly because I like the look of it. Blue is the only accent color I have and it comes in blue so why not take a look? The shades matched really well and installation was pretty easy. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS/TIPS: 1) Remove the 4 T30 screws holding the front of the bumper along the top of the kidneys. This makes access from behind to open the 6 kidney clamps much easier when you can just bend the whole thing out and get there with more leeway. 2) On my LCI, the 2-to-1 plastic hose had to be trimmed a bit to install it cleanly without having to bend/pinch things. There is a flare along the bottom of the tube and you will likely need to trim the flares at the medial edges. I used metal scissors and it looks like a 4mm thick strip of plastic on each side. 3) You don't really need a buddy to install them in this one step in the guide. I used the paper wool that was in the box to hold one of the scoops flush with the bottom before finding out that you can just press down on the plastic clip to secure it and then twist the tube into position before you do the other side. Don't know if this will actually perform as I have a DCI setup but it certainly wouldn't hurt to put more air in there.
