Pros: 1. Love the fact that it has a separate probe that can be used for oven storage and food control - no more overcooked pork loin. Bottle opener on the handle.3. Temperatures appear to be accurate.4. Built-in buzzer for different protiens.5. Target temperatures for meat at the handle.6. On / off switch. Cons: 1. The plastic material seems a little cheaper than other pen thermometers I have, but the external probe makes up for it.
