The PROs:Great build quality of cable. The cable itself has a slight stiffness to it but not enough where it cannot be bent for use between switches and patch panels. It slight rigidness actually protects over-extension of the cable when bending in various directions. All my cables so far tested great. There is a general well built feel for the cable itself, they are better then my in-wall installed cables for sure.I have actually bought 0.5 ft, 1 ft, 4 ft, and 7ft versions. The various sizes are a huge plus to clean up clutter. The CONs:The boots for strain relief are fine but the press down tab part of the boot is problematic. Part of the problem is there is enough backward flex where the round cover of the boot for the clip can get stuck under the clip. Think a situation where there is a slight recessed connector, which could push back the round sleeve for the clip pushing it actually under the clip, making it impossible to depress the clip. As a side note in a close situation like a patch panel / switch or a recessed interface like some computer cases this exacerbates the problem to fix the situation easily.Removing can also be problematic in general. I found a slight jiggle up and down and a forward push to depress the pins (the extended pins you can see in the female part of the jack) is enough to free up the connection for most cases. Unfortunately if you have any slightly recessed connector you are in a world of hurt, very much literally. My fingers are always hurting trying to get these out in certain connectors. I have found other cables (not multiple packed sold) in the same jacks that are way easier to remove. These are hard to remove because of the very tight fit. For example, when I needed a cable for some network config on my network equipment I used one of these cables. From my old Mackbook Pro, which as a very slight recessed connector, well getting the cable stuck was not very fun. Also a flash of fear ruining my jack did not help the situation. The Conclusion:Overall good cable but with some major issues. Might consider removing the round part with a knife, but still debating whether it is worth the time.
