So far, so good! I used batteries on my herbivore for about 5 1/2 years before they died but I never managed to use them for more than 20 minutes even when new. Yesterday I cut a lot of very tall weeds (bush burlap) with one of these new ones and they haven't been touched since last fall so I figured the battery would die quicker. No! I didn't even have to use a second battery; This new one was still going strong when I was done! I am very happy with this battery and so happy I read the reviews as the set I originally tested had a lot of bad reviews.
