Instant Return/DOA – Test, Measure, Verify

Unfortunately I was very happy to create a smoker temperature control with this product because it would save me time and seemed like good value for money . but no, the amount of fiddling will result in it reading the correct temperature. It always read something within a few degrees of 150F at room temperature, a probe in ice or a probe in hot water. I would try a different thermocouple if I had one and was tempted to buy it and try it because I really wanted it to work, but there was no point throwing good money after bad so I went back to Revain . While this product showed promise, especially for the price, I've since moved on to my alternative plan and built my own Wi-Fi enabled ESP8266 for half the cost.
