I bought this charger to replace the original charger in my 2015 Four Winds van. The initial charge was useless and burned my batteries. The new four-stage charger is very nice. It charges batteries much faster and will hopefully help extend the life of my batteries. Installation. I had some difficulties during the installation but I knew it would take less than an hour. The circuit board that came with the charger is not a direct replacement and I've spent a lot of time modifying it to fit. After calling Progressive I was told it wasn't necessary unless I wanted to change the rate manually. I bought the remote control separately, which allows me to change the charging speed without using the board that came with it. If I had known that in the beginning, it would have taken me 30 to 45 minutes to swap out the chargers. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.
