My husband I love knives. We have a vertical knife box that everyone is jealous of. Over the years we have spent fortunes on beautiful and sharp knives. Guess what we're using now? Those cheap, ugly knives. I usually buy a new set every year and give the old one away. There's nothing wrong with an old set, they just need sharpening and my husband never gets around to it so I just spend my money and buy new ones ("Honey you know I can sharpen these why did you buy new "Because you've been saying for 3 months that you need to sharpen them and you never make it." know the drill And no, I'm not going to collect 10 knives, carry them down to the basement, and try to figure out how to make one Grinder uses or what he uses because that's honestly a lot easier and cheaper for me to spend $20 and get a shiny new one I love these knives they are sharp and I abuse them and throw them in the trash and flush shred In a year I'll honestly buy myself a new set Speaking of brand doesn't matter I just buy the cheapest set with the sheaths and knives I need.
