I ordered this part in October 2018 for my 9 year old Samsung dryer. The item arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. I was very glad that it saved me from having to call a repairman. Fast forward to last week, August 2019, and the play failed. After some troubleshooting, we found that the solenoid(s) were stuck. Tapping the top of the solenoid will trip it up only to get stuck again. I was very disappointed that this part only lasted 10 months. Just ordered this part, received it and installed it again hoping the other one was just a fluke/lemon. Again, the item came very quickly and was easy to install. Dismantling the front of the dryer takes more time than installing the solenoid valve. Luckily the dryer works great now. I hope this part lasts for years and not months.
