Review on 🔥 Vornado OSCTH1: Oscillating Electric Tower Space Heater - Timer, Thermostat, Safety Features - Whole Room, Black by Jennifer Kiel

Bought to warm the bedroom at night and it serves its purpose perfectly. The size of the room is about 15x20 meters. It heats up instantly, but it's not a fiery explosion, more like the heat you'd expect from the vents of your standard home stove. It takes about 10-15 minutes before you feel the difference in the room, and the built-in thermostat will turn it on/off automatically when the temperature is 3-4 degrees above/below the set temperature. I like that it also oscillates so the heat isn't just going in one direction. Incidentally, I noticed that it continues to oscillate even when the heater is not actively running, i.e. not directly tied to the fan motor. The ROPS is a switch plate on the bottom of the device that turns off if you lift it more than a few inches. The "cool touch" look is also good. I can grab it immediately after turning it off with no problems. If you press the power button while the heater is running, the fan will run for 8 seconds before shutting off completely to cool it down faster. I haven't tried covering it to shut it down for overheating (because I have common sense) so can't comment on that. The only complaint I have is that the high speed setting is noisy and even on low settings sometimes blows air out for a few seconds just before the heater turns on. . It's not a bad thing to deduct a star (at least I can sleep in a room with it), but it's definitely noticeable when the fan is running on high. Inch table fan at low speed. Heard but not annoying. I haven't had it long enough to know if it's making a noticeable difference to my electric bill, but so far it's definitely been worth the price.
