My 2001 Chevy Tahoe tailgate wouldn't open by itself. I even started using a rafting paddle to prop it up. Until I came across this set. Supplied with two hydraulic suspension links for the tailgate. Installation could never be easier! Two small pins popped out of the old wands, the new wands came with their own pegs, so you can throw away the old wands and pins. The bars click very slightly and now my door opens by itself again! Upon closer inspection, the rods turned out to be the same as my 2009 Hybrid Tahoe. I assume they will work as replacements for the newer Tahoes.
